LOCATION.--Lat 4609'15", long 10228'25", in W1/2 sec.20, T.131 N., R.94 W., Adams County, Hydrologic Unit 10130205, on left
   bank 30 ft downstream from bridge on State Highway 8, and 12.5 mi north of Haynes.

DRAINAGE AREA.--553 mi2.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2,472.90 ft above sea level (North Dakota Highway Department bench mark). Prior to
   May 20, 1951, nonrecording gage on former bridge 400 ft upstream at same datum.

REMARKS.--Records good.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Flood of Apr. 17, 1950, reached a stage of about 23 ft, discharge, 26,900 ft3/s, by
   slope-area measurement at site 9 mi upstream.
