LOCATION.--Lat 46°57'40'', long 96°39'40", in SW1/4SE1/4 sec.6, T.140 N., R.47 W., Clay County, Hydrologic Unit 09020106, on left bank 4.5 mi southeast of Kragnes, 6.5 mi northeast of Dilworth, and 9 mi downstream from South Branch.
DRAINAGE AREA.--1,040 mi2, approximately.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--March 1931 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1308.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 878.31 ft above sea level (levels by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers). Prior to Apr. 5, 1937, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 13,600 ft3/s, July 2, 1975 (gage height, 27.1 ft); no flow at times in 1936.
