The designation of the Little Missouri River as a State scenic river is part of the North Dakota Century Code, Chapter 61-29, and is known as the Little Missouri State Scenic River Act.  This act can be accessed with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The Little Missouri River is listed as a Canoe Camping - Top 40 River.
